Old City of Jerusalem Tour for families

Time: 10 Am

recommended age: 5+

length: 3-4 hours

We will visit key sites and locations in the Jewish quarter of the old city. After seeing and learning about key sites we will visit the Western Wall  followed by a visit to City of David where we walk through a three thousand year old water tunnel.

Cost: 80 nis

Bring clothing that can get wet, water shoes/sandals, hats, water, snacks, flashlight

Tuesday August 18th

Time: 10 Am

Recommended ages: 15+

Length: 3-4 hours of walking

Walk the winding streets of the old city of Jerusalem. Visit the different quarters and see what makes the unique. Visit key sites in all the quarters of the old city and understand how the city, and religious sites developed over time.

Nahlaot neighborhood walking tour

Wednesday August 12th

Time: 10 Am

Recommended age: all ages

Length: 2 hours

We will start beside the Mahane Yehuda market and hear some of the stories behind the people who built the historic neighborhoods, discover the unique buildings, and learn some of the important events that took place in these narrow streets. We will continue towards Ben Yehuda street as we find hidden squares and secrets that are hidden in plain sight.

Mahane Yehuda Culinary Tour

On this in depth tour we will walk the alleyways of the market, hear stories, understand how the market has changed and taste foods from a number of the more unique venders in the market. We will discover the culinary history behind a number of the foods and how the surrounding neighborhoods grew and affected the diversity of the market.
